While traveling form elk grove to the Bay Area, we read about this placethe setting for this place is comforting small and cozy. The service was fast and nicely mannered, and the selection of food was abundance. The beef tendons were out of this world, and the fried chicken wings were fire, and final the braised beef noodle soup would bring you a nap so tasty

One of my go-to places for Szechuan in Daly City! We usually get stuff to-go, but have eaten there recently with a pretty big group of friends, who are also now addicted to the Fish with Explosive Chili! It's fried fish fillets with explosive flavor and spice! Sooooo good! Something I also recommend is the spicy sliced beef tendon! Super flavorful and nice spice. All the usual szechuan dishes here are excellent and you really can't go wrong. Even their spicy fried cabbage is crazy good! I've also had their lunch specials here. A protein with rice (fried rice or chow mein for $3 more) and soup for about $10 is a sweet deal! They're super friendly here and prices are pretty reasonable. Parking is usually alright in the area, too. Definitely going to keep coming back here.

Absolutely delicious! Extremely spicy, which is exactly what I was looking for. The textures and flavors were perfect. Great unpretentious atmosphere too. Good prices. I'll definitely be back. A+

Great sichuan place, ordered a lot of dishes and was surprised to find that there was a wide variety of spiciness to handle. Portions were great and the staff was very friendly. The pickled fish on the chef specials was to die for slightly sour but incredibly tasty.

Spicy House is the only late night eats around these parts closing at 930. Truly a great neighborhood Hunan Restu w/ delicious options. Service was spot-on w/ the two women helping all front house tables and to-go orders. Just a quaint restu under a home in the busy Daly City area...just an overall tasty and delectable choice for Chinese/Hunan food. Prepare your taste buds for spicy, but tolerable foods. Would definitely revisit! Xièxiè

Came here for lunch on a weekday. They have a good lunch special. Soup, egg roll main course for $10. Which in SF I think is a great deal. Portions were large, I had to pack up my food. I got the hot and sour soup, egg roll, Kung Pao chicken with chow mein (+$3). I loved my lunch. My husband got the sesame chicken. I wasn't a big fan of it cuz it was very breaded. Def will come back, for this awesome deal.

Love coming to this place! I frequent this place once a week, and it's my go-to restaurant for catering! The wings, salt n pepper fish, chow mein, fried rice, dumplings, etc are all delicious! The only thing better than the food is the service that the friendly staff provide!

So excited to have found my new favorite Chinese restaurant in the Bay Area! Everything that I tried so far was delicious, well seasoned, and made with fresh ingredients. We got the chicken noodle soup, bok choy, and cumin beef. The chicken noodle soup was flavorful and the garlic and ginger warmed my soul up. I loved all of the fresh veggies and chewy noodles in the soup! The bok choy wasn't anything too special but it had a great garlic flavor and wasn't doused in oil, which I appreciated. My fave was the cumin beef. The peppers added a nice kick and I liked the cut of beef that they used. The cumin sauce was perfect and I wish I could eat everything with that sauce. The cherry on top was the at the staff was so friendly and provided good recommendations for me when I asked for their preferences! Definitely check this cozy spot out!

I just returned from a week long trip to Shanghai and was really craving non-authentic Chinese food. I actually really struggled to order food, or even look anything up on a map, because I do not have a local number which means I can't use meituan or dianping. Ordering was such a struggle once I got to any place and I accidentally ordered a lot of intestines and body parts I had no intention of. Needless to say such a rough trip. I never thought I would miss Americanized Chinese food so much. We came here for lunch on a weekday at 12pm, so the restaurant only had a couple of single parties who looked like they were stopping by in between their lunch break. Their lunch special is a steal with suan la tang and rice. I'm pretty sure mine didn't come with the soup because it wasn't on the lunch special menu, but the server gifted me one. Peaceful and quiet vibes, with good consistent refills of tea. Basil chow fun: 10/5 Personally didn't try the fish dish but my boyfriend said it was okay
